LIVE - "If we are attacked" by Iran, the US military will respond "with all its force," warns Donald Trump

The Israeli army announced Sunday morning that it had intercepted seven drones launched towards its territory, without specifying their origin, after Iranian missile attacks during the night.

"In the past hour, seven drones launched towards Israeli territory were intercepted by the Israeli air force and navy," the army said in a statement, after air raid sirens sounded in the north of the country.

The missile struck there, in this quiet neighborhood of Rishon Letzion, a suburb south of Tel Aviv. At 5:30 a.m., Iran had just fired its fourth salvo of ballistic missiles of the night at Israel when it fell. This time, sirens weren't wailing in Jerusalem, but the blast of the bombardment shook houses there. During the night, about 200 missiles, "and hundreds of drones," were fired toward Israel, according to one officer. Most were intercepted, but not all.

Iran is targeting residential neighborhoods . The Israeli army has asked not to name the locations that were hit, but in Rishon Letzion, everyone knows the location. In the early morning, at the end of this grueling night of war, the sound of the explosion woke the entire city. "If we are attacked in any way by Iran, the full force and might of the United States armed forces will be brought to bear on you at levels never before seen," Donald Trump said in a message broadcast on Truth Social early Sunday. He reiterated that Washington "had nothing to do" with the ongoing Israeli attacks on Tehran.

"We can easily reach an agreement between Iran and Israel and put an end to this bloody conflict !" the American president added.
